Hello Bob, Firstly I hope you are considerably better and well on the road to recovery, super series of images of the Dunlin, certainly looks as if it had a splashing time. You stay safe, John

I'm delighted to hear from your reply to John that you are feeling well, Bob. Some great shots, and happy memories for you, of the Dunlin in Sheltland - a place that I have never been to, but would love to visit. Take great care and stay safe - - - Richard
Hello Bob, I wanted to stop back and say thank you for sharing your post. I enjoyed seeing the pretty Dunlin, your photos are lovely. I appreciate you leaving me a comment too! Take care, have a happy day!
When we lived on the lake we used to see huge flocks of Dunlin swooping up and down all at once as if they were one huge organism. But always too far away to see the individual birds, even with binoculars. So it was lovely to see your pictures, I have never been sure how to identify them ... shorebirds are hard!
