Guess what I've got.........................

It was dull and dreary this morning and most of the afternoon. So, I didn't hurry. Showering, eating my breakfast, answering your the mail on the blog,  and there it was, in amongst email to look at, there was one. From BirdGuides..................Waxwings at Cinderford 9.15am. Well, I couldn't let it go, even when the weather was not very good. So, I jumped, well, sort of jumped, into my car and went high speed, at least 50 mph all the way there. And there it was, 8 of them, Waxwings................................. Sorry about the pictures, it was dull day.

Little Grebe

It was a nice day, I couldn't believe it, but, it meant it was cold, brrrr. Never mind that, I went out to catch the Little Grebes, I know there are some not far away, yes, I found them.

European Robin (Erithacus rubecula)

Sunny intervals is the outcome, said the weatherperson. Well, was supposed to be sunny, wrong!!!!!!!!

Nene or Hawaiian Goose (Branta sandvicensis)

It rained, slightly, all morning, and do you know, it stopped raining, but it was cloudy, not very good for taking pictures. But, the weather people says it will be fine, do you think that I can believe them..............

Rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)

It was a bit better today, not much sun though, but, I went out and got a few things.

It was a dull day, makes a change. Time to dip into my MAGIC  bag again.

Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) and the Sulphur Tuft?????????

From yesterday, it is raining again today. Bah..................

Next item, I am not sure whether its a Sulphur Tuft (mushroom), please tell me if I'm wrong!!!

Rook (Corvus frugilegus)

Another no birding day.... We had a hard blowing wind and didn't see many wild birds about, except the Gulls, they seemed to enjoy themselves floating on air. This Rook I captured 5 days ago.

Waxwings (Bombycilla garrulus)

It was a morbid day, two hours of sunshine later, bad again. These are from another year, as it was the Waxwings had been here for two whole days, and now they have gone. I am upset............

 It has taken £30 just now chasing the Waxwings ...........................

Another wet day today, that doesn't seem right............... Anyway, I took these up at Slimbridge, it was a dream land. Actually, I would go and settle down there. Hum????????????
