It's a moment of nearly rain, nearly because your can't use your camera. It looks like we can feel depressed. Anyway, here are some pictures of better times.

Mute Swan cygnets

They are about 5 months old. They look like their going away soon, as it happens, they have lost 5 already, lucky for them. If they don't want to, they will feel the power of daddy swan.

Slimbridge WWT

                                                                Female Goldeneye
                                                            Red-breasted Goose
                                                                    Ruddy Shelduck
Female Wigeon

I went to Slimbridge today, looking for Berwick's Swan, Whooper Swan, Pink-footed Goose, but I couldn't get close to the many that have flown in. So, I threw in some others there.

Chaffinches, further on up to the Forest of Dean.

This male Chaffinch has no deformity.
And this one does have a disease. (Fringilla papillomavirus, Warts). It seems that 1/3 of Chaffinches is likely will end up with it, both sexes.  It's a terrible to have that, but, it wont kill them and doesn't restrict their usual galloping around.

Slimbridge flamingos.

A young Caribbean Flamingo. This one was taken at Slimbridge WWT.
I HAD TO STAY IN WAITING FOR AN ELECTRIAN TO MEND MY WATER. Don't ask me why an electrician, when it should have been to send a plumber, well, it is...........oh, because I have no energy!
