Went along to New Fancy where they have the Goshawks mating dance. But it is the wrong time. I heard the Common Crossbills sending their feeding music, it is so loud and deep. But, I didn't catch them. I was stuck with the Chaffinches, they got bigger and bigger, as they were getting something to eat.
I've done it again, a bit like the one I showed you: 19th September. Ah well, that's the way it goes.
I went up to Forest of Dean, not the Barn Owl, and I met Chris Grady searching for a Jay. I'm sure that he has got one, like he never leaves somewhere with a good shot. Unfortunately, it was time for me to go.

I'm always going on about the weather, but today was good day. Would you believe it, I didn't take a picture worth this blog. There were some times I could have been faster, like the one that I went up there for, Common Crossbills and a Hawfinch..................in the trees. But I didn't!!!!
