Unas fotos extraordinarias de la barnacla canadiense, me han gustado mucho. Enhorabuena Bob, un abrazo desde España.
Lovely looking geese/goose.
I was walking out of a store this morning and about 200 of them flew over, complaining the whole way. They seemed a bit confused about where they were going. It was multiple groups because they later broke up and went different directions. Sometimes they fly over our house and you can hear the honking and yelping even with the windows closed! I love 'em. We've lived here for more than 30 years and I still am amazed that we see FAR more Canada Geese than ducks here.
as always, beautiful series of photos.do Canadian geese migrate to avoid severe winter?Have a great day
Canada Geese are much underated by birders. Handsome birds indeed.

Hi Bob,Fantastic series of images of these beautiful Canadian geese!Best regards, Irma
Buena serie en la que destacaría la penúltima y antepenúltima fotografía en la que el ganso luce al completo y en todo su esplendor.Un abrazo,
More great shots, Bob! I'm not good at the various 'Canadas' but that last one certainly looks different with its small head and short neck. From reading the various descriptions on Birdguides (https://www.birdguides.com/articles/a-brief-guide-to-vagrant-canada-geese) I'd say it looks good for Cackling or Richardson's. Have a great Christmas - - - Richard
Bob's library of Photos is a meaning of hope.
