Photographed at Slimbridge WWT, Gloucestershite, GB. (Captive)
Please look at my websitebobswildlife.co.uk. There is a photo of a Sparrowhawk. And a Grey Wagtail by Calluminthe 'Guest photographer. The new 'YouTube' video, check it out.
Handsome if understated duck! I kept looking trying to see the knob on his beak and it doesn't look all that knobby to me ;>)...... No birds for me this last week, so thank you for sharing yours. (It was too hot for me to go birding.)
Hi, Bob! Took a lov ly 'scroll' through many of your most recent posts this morning to try to catch up a little. Such gorgeous photos, many of birds I’ve never heard of before, let alone seen. I hope you are doing well and escaping the heat. Not hot where I live! XO
I'd not heard of this duck before, Bob, but what a cutie she is! Having looked it up on t'interweb, I see it's the drake that has the knob (well it would be, wouldn't it!) and also some splendid colours in his wings.
Hello, what a cute duck. It is a new one for me. Enjoy your day!
