Swallow (Harbour Lane, Lydney.)

A really smashing day we've had here, and it seems we are in for a wopping great heat wave. Well, I don't mean it.

  1. Lucky you - heat, blue sky and swallows!

  2. Hi Bob,
If you do have to much sun you cans end some over here... It is raining all the time and quite cold for the season, around 5°C... We are getting time to time nice warm days but not enough... Nice shots you got of the barn swallow... We have a pair in our neighborhood but it is a rare bird!

  3. Joo, yeah I'm lucky, but the heat won't stay.

Chris, the seasons are all to do climate changes.

  4. Lovely Swallow photos, Bob! I saw one posing beautifully like that last week but was in the car and there was nowhere to stop, it was so frustrating not to be able to get a photo.

  5. Yes, it is frustrating, but you'll get it one day.

  6. My wife and I spent a long time, sitting on a bench tucked up on a porch on a farm. From the barn came lots of barn swallows, flying at incredible speeds, just over the top of the grass on the lawn. When any insect popped up they grabbed it and we thought it was a clever way to find your food.
