Goosander - females (Forest of Dean)

It has been another sunny day, I can't believe it. So, I was outside flashing away at all sort of things. But, the pictures I am going to show you, it is a little  bit on the dreary side. On a day like this one, I found a dismal place to photograph from, ah, that's life!

It wasn't a good day, no sun until 3.30pm. It was a day for opening the box of many secrets, this one was taken a week ago.

They floated by aimless and without predator, at least for the moment!

I had some time to go out and capture the Linnets. This was closer that even I had thought, this one seems to be happy with everything.
