Birds and Nature in the Forest of Dean

This is a tiny Owl, by tiny I mean that is the smallest owl I've seen.

Have you noticed that the mother is sleeping on a piece of rope............

And here are the one of offsprings.

Scratching its face.

and swimming under the pole that is carrying the rope.

Another day without the sun, it won't be long and he/she comes out. These are pictures are of a baby Toad, it was 30mm long, a minimum that's all.

Same as this first, only it is cut a bit.

These are slightly bad, out of focus.

It was a gloomy day.

I had about 1 hour to spend chasing other species, but I caught this one.
