Female Tufted Duck (Aythya fuligula)

Another day at Stone Works, Forest of Dean. I had heard there was several Garganey, a duck, swimming about, but I couldn't find them.

Mandarin Duck female ( Aix galericulata)

The female of this species is quite outstanding, not says the RSPB "The female is dull by comparison". Ha ha, who are trying to kid. It is BEAUTIFUL. This is for Peter Photos taken in the Forest of Dean. You can get them easily at the Stone Works, it is easier if you can go by car and shoot while inside.

I didn't do any filming today, because I went to the hospital where my dad is, he is 91 years, and he shows it.
This photo was taken about 2009, I think........................ Anyway, he came and landed 10 metres from me, hence, it was only head that could be photographed.
