Female Large Red Damselfly (Next to Canal, Lydney)

Guess what??????? It has been raining, makes a change, lol. I picked up this one yesterday, it is a beauty. I wasn't quite sure so, I emailed to Andy Carey http://andrewcareyphotography.co.uk/index.htm to find out if I was right. Actually, I wasn't, part of its name I got wrong. Andy is never wrong, damn it.

Wheatear (River Severn, Lydney)

It was nice this morning, sunny and the wind had stopped. I went about my spotting and I got one straight away. The Wheatear. It was letting me photograph it from about 5 meters, so I didn't spoilt it.

Chiffchaff (Lydney Waste Ground)

It was cold this morning, brrrrrrrrr, I can't say that I like it, especially when it is supposed to be the end of spring.

I love this one, Neil Young, the best.
