Golden-ringed Dragonfly (Nagshead)

A beautiful sight, the Golden-ringed Dragonfly. I sat there and took photographs, for about 5 minutes, and then it flew away and I couldn't see it again.

Fallow Deer (Boys Grave)

There were 8 of them grazing on the grass. How beautiful are the Fallow Deer. In the evening we set off, Tim Fetter and me, looking for a late night for a change. We saw 2 Redstarts, Tree Pipit, about 4 Woodcocks, 4 Tawny Owl juveniles, Nightjars and Bats.

Mother Shipton Moth (Wild Lydney)

I don't normally show pictures of moths, but I did with this one. It's a daytime moth, which is alright for me, because it doesn't need me to move things and see the darker side of life.

Large Red Damselfly (Moseley Green)

It is amazing, how wonderful this time of year. Dragonfly time, and there is more to come.
