Mute Swan cygnet at Lydney boating pond.


It hasn't been so long since it was an egg. About a week I think. I know how you feel, that cuddling feeling, but soon it takes after it's the Cob, and maybe it will turn more serious and bad temper.

Pike at Mallards Pike


It was not the reason why the Mallard Duck, and plenty of Pike came by the name "Mallards Pike". Taking its name from a tollhouse that used to stand at the site.

Azure Damselflies at Naghead Nature Reserve

I was on the verge of giving up, nothing for 5 hours and I'd not seen anything. Then, I had an idea, to try their pond, and it was to my advantage that it was full of damselflies, dragonflies, moths frog spawn and there were others.

Large Skipper at Lydney

I caught this one on my journey to the Marshes. It looks like it has got entwined in a spiders web, but I can tell as it flew off.
