The Goldfinch is always in my garden eating sunflower hearts, but, I don't see them so much outside in Lydney. Maybe it doesn't like the fair town.

It's not the best I've taken, but this is the first one that I have photographed. The beautiful Brambling.

Bar-headed Goose

A Bar-headed Goose is hard to find at Lydney boating lake, in fact, it's hard to find outside of the Himalayas. This one must have flown here from Slimbridge (an escapee). It is a really high flyer, the highest known of all birds.
