Plants of the forest

It was a very, very, very poor day. It didn't stop raining. So, I will let you see my photographs from a few days back.

These are plants I had seen in my travels, I don't know what they are called, maybe there is somebody who will tell me.

Pied Wagtail at Speech House Woodlands

They get up here, not just the town. They are everywhere. Tails bobbing, on getting some food. Which, it is obviously they are after. They are cute!

More Dragonflies, or should I say Damselfly. Very common, but beautiful.

It was just a few weeks when I photographed this dragonfly, but now it is time for the male.

Mute Swan nesting at Cannop Ponds

The Male is not nice, he has killed lots of wildfowl. I have counted 12. This Swan is sitting on 2 eggs, which when or if, they will not be quite a nasty as their father.
