Willow Warbler at Lydney boating lake.

It has been 3 days since I communicated, sorry! And what a lovely morning it was. Here I caught the Willow Warbler darting from tree to tree. I had to be quick; I was having a tow bar fitted to my car to pull a trailer for my scooter. So I disappeared from that scene with the bird.

Cuban Whistling-duck at Slimbridge WWT

I was feeling bored, nothing new to excite me. So, I let myself go a little and nipped over to the archives. That's much better.

Wheatear in Lydney harbour

Here at Lydney harbour, is a strip of land that I believe belongs to nobody. Unfortunately, the farmers, they have barred the way for certain types of people, those in wheelchair and mobility scooters. So, I am one of those people. I can’t have the right of way to see the birds that are so hard to photograph. This photo was taken in 2005. All the areas that I used to frequent, were many birds: Dunlin, Sandpiper, Turnstone, Oystercatcher, Rock Pipit, Ringed Plover and many more.

Rowen bud

The good old Rowen tree, new with spring and looks so beautiful. It won't be long before it turns into a tree with berries. I'll keep you posted how it is going.
