House Sparrows are quite numerous in our town. The birds in other areas are disappearing fast, let us be thankful that we still have some.

Kestrel. In Lydney cricket ground.

The Kestrel was a juvenile. I think it let me close enough to take this photograph, about 10 meters. It hung about for 4 days and then it was gone. Shame, but I got a load of films.

Cormorant pictured at Lydney Boating Lake.

The Cormorant, what a big bird, quite a beautiful sight. Some people seemed it alright to kill them, it is after the fish and no doubt will frighten the fishermen. I think that they can live together without any harm. So, there will always be plenty of fish.
