Great Crested Grebes (Forest of Dean)

I shot this one from behind reeds, nearly all of them were like that.
This one was nearly there, but it wasn't right.

This is the nesting joint, but not now. This one is waiting for them.

This one I liked, even though it is a bit blurred.

You need a Crane to lift away this weather.......

The Common Crane is wonderful in this country, it is about 400 years without them, but here are, at home on Somerset levels.

These are one of the smaller breeds. To me, it is beautiful and, I want to cuddle it. There isn't one who would want to hurt it.
