It had to be a Mallard Duck, funny how you can miss it. It was in it's winter plumage. I love the changing of each season, and the colouring of this bird.
The Reed Bunting is an intuitive bird, or seems to be. He doesn't move when he is photographed, and using a flash. Food is his prime mood. They are quite numerous at this time of year.
The Red Kite is a beautiful bird. It used to be a rare sight, but now you can see them up in the air, in flight. This one was in Wales, that wonderful place of Gigrin Farm, South Street, Rhayader, Powys.
