Nuthatch is generally found in the woods, where I picked up this one. It was at the Cyril Hart Arboretum, good place for Nuthatches. I was waiting for the Brambling which I had seen there, but it wasn't to be. So I'll be grateful with this one.

The Pied Wagtail seems to get everywhere, in fields, town centres and on a busy roads. You can notice them by the constant bobbing of their tails.

Greenfinch. I photographed this in my garden. After last year, which nearly was a disease that had killed them out, they have started to emerge again to grow into a largish amount. They will, I hope, be one of the many birds at our feeders.

Chiloe Widgeon

This was an escapee from, I think, from Slimbridge WWT. It must have flown to Lydney Boating pool. It stayed for a couple of days and then it disappeared. In Slimbridge, there were loads of them, so they didn't miss this one.
