A beautiful sight, the Golden-ringed Dragonfly. I sat there and took photographs, for about 5 minutes, and then it flew away and I couldn't see it again.
There were 8 of them grazing on the grass. How beautiful are the Fallow Deer. In the evening we set off, Tim Fetter and me, looking for a late night for a change. We saw 2 Redstarts, Tree Pipit, about 4 Woodcocks, 4 Tawny Owl juveniles, Nightjars and Bats.
I don't normally show pictures of moths, but I did with this one. It's a daytime moth, which is alright for me, because it doesn't need me to move things and see the darker side of life.
