The Coal Tit lives in the trees, mostly coniferous. It eats insects and seeds. In the winter it is commonly seen in gardens, when it takes away seeds from the feeders and will go and hide it.
Long-tailed Tits are gently noisy. They move from tree to tree looking for food, insects, lichen and green algae. They are sociable, and huddle up when they are cold and to fall sleep.
The Chaffinch seems to be always eating food, it is in peoples gardens readily filled with well stocked bird seeds, either from the table or on the ground. They can be the most striking birds that you can see, especially in their plumage.
