You did well to get such good shots of this bird, Bob. If I see one it always seems to be so far away that I can't even see the pale spots on its feathers!
i see a lot of different sandpipers here at the jersey shore, i have never seen a green sandpiper. this past summer i spent some time with some time with them at my favorite lake!!
