Gorgeous photos of the Lesser flamingo, we have one roaming free among the Greater flamingos in the south of France, in Camargue! Great portraits :) Enjoy your weekend, Bob!
Beautiful photographs of this stunning creature, Bob. Those legs "go on for miles" don' they?? And such an amazing color in those feathers. Have a wonderful weekend.
Now if you'd found one of the old bands doing "Flamingo"... Seriously, there are times when I think you found out all the music I liked-- from Miller to Led Zep. Anyway, fine pictures.
Another fine visit, Bob. I visited Great Inagua in the Bahamas where the flamingos breed. (Salt is also raked from the flats commercially). Riding with a local woman, I asked about the flamingos. "Oh they be protected, way over the other side of the island." Then she grinned mischievously and added: "Good eating though!"
Really like your Glen Miller choice. Really LOVE these flamingo's. The colour of the feathers / plumage is just incredible and how you've captured them on your camera an absolute joy to look at. Thank you.
Beautiful ...that beauty posed gorgeously for you. We had a stray American flamingo (not an escapee) in our area for a short time this winter , but I was not lucky enough to see it.

Where's that trooped in from. It is a resettled captive, or an injury?
