An Absolutely gorgeous owl ,Bob, and beautifully captured in your lens. The Burrowing Owl is so like our Little Owls, which also occasionally nest in underground burrows, although this is not normal.
Pleased to hear that the storm didn't do you any damage. We, also, were lucky, but there are many who've had a really bad time of it.
Bob, what a beauty!! They have a place near here where they raise these owls in captivity and then release them into the wild. It has been quite a successful program.
