Chaffinch (f and m) & Robin in the Forest of Dean - HOOF
It was a dark and dismal day, I should have stayed at home, where there's warmth. But, I shot these two birds, standing in frost ridden places. Save Our Forests has 169204 people who have signed the petition. We have to make it, we're nearly there.
I know what you mean about the getting out into the cold, when it would be oh, so much easier to stay inside. The Robin images, so colourful, are lovely~
I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve selected you for a Stylish Blogger Award. As soon as I discovered that someone had named me for one you were one of the first bloggers I thought of.
Details and an award button, should you choose to add one, can be found on my blog http://virginia-wanderer.blogspot.com or on Ed Boring's Shots That Snap http://shotsthatsnap.blogspot.com/.
I have signed the campaign, I was going to sign sometime ago but was put off by being required to give my postcode, however I have decided the campaign is too important to ignore so my name has been added. I saw a piece about the growing protest on the news this morning, it is definitely gathering steam!

The first couple look like the winter version of our American goldfinch. Just lovely and understated. :)
