In Poland it is known as Suilluses, mushroom, I have had a look "Tony nile life" and told to look up http://www.rogersmushrooms.com/gallery/DisplayBlock. They are or as possibly as I can get it is: Leccinum versipelle. Joo, they are really tasty, yum yum.
Even in my part there are the mushrooms, the period of greatest harvest is in September, but experts say that should it rain. The prized mushroom is a fungus that is also sold at 40 euros Kg
