I keep trying to get things right, as you know, I'm not very good at aireal photography, like these two, each time I always get it wrong, like these here without wings. Never mind, I'll keep trying.
It certainly isn't easy Bob, but I do like that first one. And sometimes a picture works, even without everything in it. I don't think the clipped wings matter here; it concentrates more on the bird, and his concentration.
Bob these are at least in focus and who cares about the wing tips, apart from the Tern. I have trouble but put the camera on burst setting and just keep the shutter pressed. There is usually one worth having but not always.
Great photos. Wonder why it is called common, looks wondrous to me. Ha. Hubby and I heard an owl in our back yard this morning. Do you have any suggestions for getting a picture of an owl?
TechnoBabe, certainly some of only fly at night, so if you've got plenty money, you can get after dark, but are a lot of them that come out during the day. It's a bit different to yours in America, but there is one.

I agree totaly with holdingsmoments!! In this case the first one had a very special statement. I like it!
ReplyDeleteWell surely not that easy to do, especially tern, they move so fast! But I love these two shots which are very dynamic!
ReplyDeletedear Bob you were good, I was photographing birds flying out only the sky.AH Ah, ah!
ReplyDeleteKeith, your dead right, I'd never put it like that.
ReplyDeleteYes Isabella, the first one is the best.
They are fast, but this one hovered for at least 2 seconds, it was enough time to shoot, Chris. And thanks, for your comments.
Elettra, thanks to you.

ReplyDeleteThanks Adrian, it is a tricky moment.
ReplyDeleteBut Bob, they are terrific! You did it perfectly!
