I have been looking around for something to make a feeder, been to the building material shop naturally as a retired builder think big, looking at mesh wire all they have here is either too course and the nuts will fall through or to build an aviary, not one for cages so that is a no go, or there is mosquito gauze the birds would be able to see the nuts but not eat. And thanks to you Bob I now have just the thing to make a feeder not that the birds here need feeding but its nice to see them when I open my door in the morning taking water from the pot I fill each day in my plants. here also I put some oats. but the crows come first thing and eat it thats why I need A hanging feeder, I may encourage them to be a little bit more friendly when I have my camera in hand, will see how it works and maybe get a photo to show for it,
Fun little chaps to watch. Hope your weekend is 'rain free'Bob; the sun has already disappeared this am & the dark clouds have rolled in again..another day indoors.
Hi Bob, Wow what a chance! This is really nice to see it hanging over your forest. I have never seen it with my own eyes, but now I think I will recognize it... Have a nice week end
Lovely photos Bob - they are so cute!
