  1. My friend Bob,
This is a brilliant and thoughtful post.
Looking the third photo I can think an ancient Greek word : "φεύξομαι". The word means : I am gona leave.
I am sending worm greatings from Volos : 25 degree tosay.

  7. It's grest to see that you managed to get out and photograph those beautiful Manadarins while the ice was around, Bob. It certainly gave you some fabulous photo opportunities which, of course, you got great results from. Best wishes to you and the family - take great care - - - Richard

  18. Amazing ducks <3 In the 3rd photo he is like "what you looking at" haha

My local ducks, the pond was 80% frozen and had been up every day feeding them seeds and sweetcorn. There are 5 Muscovy ducks, plenty Mallards and 1 white duck and a moorhen has gate crashed their party. Sadly there were 2 white ducks, but one passed away over night. He was there yesterday and gone today :-(

  21. Adorable! For me the no other birds are as cute as mandarins. Your shots are great! Coincidentally, I‘ve just published a post on ducks. My pictures cannot compete with yours, but I write about my ducks and ducklings.

    Keep safe, Bob.

    Warm wishes,

    Irina
