Hi Bob, Wonderful image of the wild Boar, snoozing happily. I always understood the Boars can be dangerous, hopefully you got away with it. All the best, John
The boar only seem to be dangerous when they are protecting their young ones, mainly because of barking dogs. I have aproached them a few times to take photos, one followed by my side for a while. We also encountered four walking past the car when we were taking pictures. I got out of the car to take photos, they were fine with me being within a couple of feet of them, they seemed alot more intrested in digging up the ground for food. I still wouldn't recomend getting to close though.
Hello Bob, with us in the woods there are also many wild boars but you know that I have never been able to photograph one !!! I see them in others they do see but I have never seen them. Nice and very nice photo :-)
Very nice shot of a sleeping pig.
