Common Shelduck (Tadorna tadorna) - in eclipse plumage.

  9. Great images, Bob. I don't think I'd have recognised that bird as a Shelduck - it looks so different in eclipse plumage!

  10. Me gustan todas, tienen la acostumbrada nitidez de foco que te caracteriza, pero la última en la que el pato navega con la cabeza sumergida me gusta en especial.

  13. Hello Bob!:) In eclipse plumage, I also had difficulty in recognizing this duck as a Shelduck, but it's another great series of photos.:)

    I think that one of the Hoopoes was a youngster.
