Dear Bob, great shots again! I like these birds, they are sometimes here in our garden - mostly in fall when our apples are ripe! Then they share some with us and some other birds.... :-)
Alles Liebe Heidi
Hello Bob, your Jay is gorgeous. It is another bird from across the pond I would love to see. Great series of photos. Happy Saturday! Wishing you a happy weekend!
Hi Bob and wonderful images of a stunning Jay, they are such a beautiful bird. a hole drilled and some peanuts stuck in peanut butter works wonders, have a good weekend. All the best. John
Wonderful portraits -- they look so inquisitive! It is different from the Jays we have here, but the Latin name sounding like 'garrulous' is certaknly appropriate ... the Jay we have here certainly do like to "talk" ... a lot. I suppose the Latin name, that part of it, is the same for our Jays maybe. I am so ignorant of those things.

ReplyDeleteThe third shot makes the bird appear to be singing a great aria! Perhaps some Verdi!. Beautiful as usual.
