Lovely little Vole, quite common I have been told. This is one of my worst, it was a bad day.
Please can you sign this petition to stop the proposed M4 over the Gwent Levels. I feel strongly about this because it is a place I visit a lot. The damage to the Gwent Levels along with Magor Marsh and the Newport Wetlands will be irreparable!
Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.uk. There is a photo of a Black-winged Stilt, and the Great Spotted Woodpecker (female) by Callum in the 'Guest photographer'

ReplyDeleteNow, the thought: let me see, I hope that Blue-Jay doesn't chase me away.
ReplyDeleteWell he's a cute little guy- sneaking a bite from the birds.
ReplyDeleteHe might be common but pictures of him certainly are not. (It's true I've heard of this little creature all of my life but have never ever seen anyone's picture of him... (I'm sure he's on Google and Wikipedia, but I've never needed to look him up -- and anyway it is more fun seeing pictures taken by real people ;>))).
ReplyDeleteBob, cute little guy or girl! I've never seen one! I'm told they are a major part of our owl populations diet!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Nice shots!
