Wow .... this is really great to see. The little egret is difficult to photograph because he always flies away. You could take great pictures and also with a fish. My compliments.
Hi Bob, you don't have to go back many years and we never saw a Little Egret, really good images and I agree the light has been awful, what chance have we got??. See it caught a Perch for lunch. All the best, John
Caught and swallowed! No need to apologize -- the pictures are just fine -- the sun can't shine all the time after all. (And you are valiant to be out there birding on a rainy cold-looking day! )
