Greylag Goose ringed

Can you tell me where it was ringed?

  1. Hi Bob, I have not the slightest idea but if you send the images to the B T O they will be able to tell you, I have done this with Barn Owls, apart from that excellent images of the rings, never managed to get close enough to be able to read them. All the best, Regards John

  7. Hi Bob. I can only tell you that it was ringed in UK. Metal rings in UK with 'Brit Museum on them are BTO rings - explanation here:- http://www.britishmuseum.org/about_this_site/contact/bird_ringing.aspx

    Not a fan of ringing, myself.
