Hi Bob. Maybe you have proper "Egyptian Goose" down your way. We just have escapes at he mo without a feral population. Nice to see yours. An attractive bird for sure.
Hi Bob, are these from your previous visit, great images. We had a nest of Ospreys on Lagoon four but the single egg was smashed by Egyptian Geese, so not one of my favourite birds. Regards John
What an amazing looking bird. Love the look of your new website. A v minor quibble? You might want to correct the spelling of interested in the 'about you' segment.
Hello Bob!:) What gorgeous shots!:) I have always loved the Egyptian Goose, and you have captured some beautiful images of it's lovely colourful plumage.
It's good to see you still have some super images from your visit to Rutland Water to show us, Bob. However, as John says, they are not our favourite birds there! They cause many problems, being some of the first birds to start breeding each year. They try to take over the Osprey nests before the Ospreys return - and sometimes after they return with disasterous results.
