We used to see magpies often when we were growing up in Eastern Washington State. And then we didn't see them at all until we traveled to Alaska. The ones there were almost as handsome as yours is!

I know sometimes these birds get a hard press but I think they are a lovely looking bird Bob as is seen from your shots.
