beautiful close-ups! i'd love it if a small flock would stop here at run*a*round just once so i could record them in my list of birds sighted here. but they just fly over (and i don't count those).
Great pictures. I don't know why, but they made me laugh. Goofy birds. They are everywhere in this area. Just the other day they were eating an entire cornfield.
Gorgeous crisp photos of a lovely bird! I wanted to thank you too for your comment on my Treasures post about the things Mom sent to me. She actually isn't in a retirement home, but at almost 81 is pretty active and spry, and just moved into an apartment complex with retired residents. She still takes complete care of herself and her new home, and is pretty amazing. I am so thankful for that as we approach Thanksgiving here in the U.S. Just wish I could see her more often. :-)
