We had and still have some sunny and warm days as well here in Germany. Next week I'm going to meet an 'Old Fart' (like me) from Britain here in Germany - his name is John and he lives close to the Welsh border at Shrewsbury. I love your "Rotschenkel" - every now and then I see some of them at the German North Sea coast as well.

DeleteIt does look summery. The Redshanks take me back to a trip to Iceland a couple of years ago. They were certainly vocal too!
