Plovers I know from the German North Sea coast as well. Especially in winter time they come from Scandinavia or Siberia to the much milder North Sea coast to hibernate. I'm not sure if I observed them in summer time as well there... Tomorrow our summer should come back to southern Germany - let's wait and see - we've had a lot of rain within the recent days. Uwe.

Oh my goodness! What gorgeous images of the Plover! I'd give anything to get that close to birds. I am in awe... and a tad jealous! What I would give to have such wonderful gear to get so close. You are blessed Bob.
