Great shots of this Little Owl. Never sure I should have favourite birds but owls are probably are my favourites. Love the music link too. We made at least three Clarsach's for Derek Bell of the Chieftains and sometimes he would pop into the workshop and give us all an impromptu little concert always embellished with his many colourful stories - and language ;).

A few years later a well known air-company trashed it with a forklift truck! I was told it ended up displayed in a glass case in Paddy Maloney's own bar.
It is indeed a lovely creature. It looks young.
