I was surprised at the mallard photos becasue it looks a lot different that our Minnesota mallards with green heads. I love how each feather on the back is outlined. Beautiful!
Nice duck :) There are many such individuals, mixes of Mallard and a domestic duck. In Poland we have a nickname for them: sołtys :) Many of them don't resemble Mallard at all :)
