Nothing much wrong with these Bob and it is nice to see one. I see a twig or bit of reed running across but what the hell. It looks as if the aperture has shifted to wide open. As you know I don't take many bird shots and the ones I take aren't brilliant. I find that the Canon system is good but on anything but full manual it is too easy to catch the front dial. The back dial locks. I have loaded a couple of pre-sets or favourites into mine but I'm a dumb cluck and can't remember what does what. Your images are just fine. They are brilliant in fact. It is beyond my comprehension how you manage with one hand.
Oh dear! I really hope your cam has not suffered, but I would have been very happy if I had taken these shots! A bird I have yet to see! Well done Bob, keep well!
well I admire your determination and perfection in what you do so well Bob. These wheat-ear photographs are still super; what a delightful bird to see (and photograph)
