WOW! I watched several smaller birds chasing a hawk yesterday afternoon but I had a hammer in my hand instead of a camera. Lesson learned: it's hard to shoot photos with a 28 oz. framing hammer.
I have seen birds of prey hunting, they are quite fierce. We have 2 couples of buzzards near where we live and I saw the four of them hunting a few weeks ago, that was quite impressive as the birds were flying and in zigzag low to avoid being caught! Quiet a show! Is your bird an hawk?
Thank you for these Bob, very nice...always enjoy groupings of many birds, as well as close ups. Hmmm, it looks like it may have just been a Crow, but then again...never know now~
nicely captured Bob..
ReplyDeleteunder attack from you!
ReplyDeleteNice action picture,

ReplyDeleteGood capture Bob.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what it is though. Looks too big, and wrong shape to be a Peregrine or Sparrowhawk.
