Swallow chick (Lydney, The Marshes)

It was waiting for it's parents to come and feed  it, but, I was in wrong place. Too near. So I snapped a few pictures, and moved on.

  5. Lovely captures Bob... So sharp I even enjoyed the barbed wire...

  6. Barbed wire is my arch enemy when I'm out roaming the ridge. Several abandoned fences have been swallowed by the kudzu and the posts have rotted away. Guess who is most proficient at finding the wire....the hard way.

Young birds remind of teenagers, they look fully grown up but are still very dependant despite the appearances :))
