Lapwing (Gloucestershire)

They stand in the upright position looking out at something, but, they are frightened, suddenly they are flying, and they can really go. Beautiful. I'm not in position to take any pictures of that, but, you can watch them flying sometimes.

I am playing a song every night, and I shall try to put what I'm listening to at this moment. It is Nick Drake:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTmAqr04UXM

  10. These are beautiful, Bob! BTW, thanks for the inspiration to look for a way around my bent wing. I've been doing that for a while since the accident that wrecked my back and legs but I still appreciated the nudge.
