Beautiful butterflies Bob, where abouts were these taken?
how come you never got the red on the mormon if you would have shown this and the mormon together I would have said this is the mormon lovelly shots all of them and thanks for sharing.
Hi Sharon, I took them at Symonds Yat on Wednesday. It was a sort of zoo.Tony, I am willing to share.
Those are also lovely! I don't look for Latin name Bob, English is enough - I've just never seen them before:)
Great butterflies Bob!That's something I need to work on, we get so many in our wildflower garden.
Joo, the first one is: Common Mormon (papilio polytes), the second is: The Common Sailor (neptis hylas) and the third is: Lime butterfly (papilio demoleus). You wont see them very well, as they come from South America - middle east through to far east.Hi Dave, I want to specialise in them, thus I went to a place where they do it.
I've enjoyed catching up with these butterflies Bob. Some real beauties there.
Thanks Keith, nice to hear from you.
