Moorhen are quite a remarkable birds, they can climb up trees, run on the ground, swim and running through the undergrowth. They don't have webbed feet but toes. They can brood from 2 or 3 times each year. They eat nearly everything, grasses, seeds, water weeds, insects, worms and fruit.
