Australasian Darter - Anhinga novaehollandiae

 These were photographed taken by my brother, Pete who was living in Australia.

  5. All is revealed. I thought when I saw the title of your blog that it was a long, long way from home. They swim really love in the water so one of their common names here is 'snake bird' because often all you see is their head and neck.
    Nice to see that photography runs in your family.
